Federica Sasso (b. 1992) is a documentary and commercial photographer born and raised between Vicenza and Milan, Italy. She studied photography at Istituto Italiano di Fotografia (Milan, Italy).

Her work focuses on feminine and adolescence related topics. Her photographs appeared on Io Donna, Vogue, D Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, Panorama, Pagina99, YET Magazine, Gente di Fotografia, Artribune and Il Giornale among others.

She is the author of the photobook “Sick Sad Blue” (sold out), a visual journey through images and social media screenshots that tell the story of Chiara, who suffered from eating disorders. She is among the selected photographers featured on  the collective photobook “Up to Now. Fabrica Photography.” published by Fabrica Editorial

As commercial and fashion photographer she works with clients such as Benetton, UN, Fernet Branca, Sholl, Le Babe, Esme Vie, Mipel and Miranda Konstantinidou.

In 2016 she shot Benetton’s global campaign WE (Women Empowerment Program).

She was recipient of a one-year scholarship for a residency at Fabrica, Benetton’s communication research centre (Treviso, Italy)
